Things to consider before starting the process

As well as the ELEXON market entry processes you should:

Make contact with National Grid to discuss your BM Unit registration. National Grid can be contacted on 0800 085 4806. You will also need to contact the Interconnector Operator to discuss any entry requirements they may have before you can start trading (e.g. SONI Limited for the Irish Interconnector & National Grid Interconnectors Ltd for the French Interconnector).
